Refunds & Cancellation Policy

At Noel Adventures and Safaris, we are committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences and high-quality products. We understand that plans may change and issues may arise, which is why we have created the following clear and fair Refunds & Cancellation Policy.


A. Tour Bookings & Safari Packages

1. Cancellations by Clients

All cancellation requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to:

Refunds will be processed based on the time the cancellation notice is received, as follows:

48 hours or less0% refund

Note:

  • Gorilla & chimpanzee permits, domestic flights, and visa processing fees are 100% non-refundable once booked.

  • No refunds for unused services, late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.

  • Bank/transaction charges on refunds will be borne by the client.

2. Changes & Rescheduling

Clients may request to amend a confirmed booking. While we strive to accommodate all changes, any adjustments may incur an amendment fee based on third-party costs and administrative charges. New dates are subject to availability.


B. Online Shop Orders

1. Returns & Exchanges (Apparel, Accessories, Souvenirs)

We accept returns and exchanges on physical merchandise under the following conditions:

  • Request must be made within 7 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging

  • Client bears return shipping unless the return is due to a fault on our part

Eligible for Return:

  • Clothing (wrong size, wrong item)

  • Safari gear (defective/damaged upon arrival)

  • Souvenirs (damaged in transit)

Not Eligible for Return:

  • Gift vouchers

  • Personalized items

  • Perishable or time-sensitive products

  • Clearance sale items

Refund Method:
Once approved, refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

2. Damaged or Faulty Goods

If you receive a damaged item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and order details. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no extra charge.


C. Gift Vouchers
  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

  • Vouchers may be transferred to another recipient upon request.

  • Validity period is 12 months from the date of issue.


D. Cancellations by Noel Adventures

In the rare event that we are forced to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as:

  • Natural disasters

  • Political unrest or security issues

  • Pandemics or government travel restrictions

You will be offered:

  • A rescheduling option

  • Or a full refund, excluding any non-recoverable costs (e.g., gorilla permits, flights)

We aim to resolve all refund inquiries within 10 working days.


Legal & Dispute Resolution

All refund claims and disputes shall be governed by the laws of Uganda. Disputes not resolved amicably will be referred to the competent courts of jurisdiction in Uganda.
